System highlight for aviation technology.

Three self-sufficient systems for coating on two levels
About a year ago, DECKER was presented with a tricky task: the construction of a new type of coating system for the aviation industry. Naturally, DECKER was happy to take on the challenge — and did so with flying colors, as the system recently passed its final acceptance test.
This is the first project of its kind in the whole of Europe and the second worldwide. For competition reasons, the customer may not be named and the system technology may only be described in general terms.
But this much can be revealed: Extensively automated process control in the baths, chemical treatment and high circulation rates ensure the consistent quality of the products. After all, the underlying requirements are very high, especially in the aviation industry — no wonder when you consider that these are high-security parts. At the same time, an optimally coordinated supply and exhaust air system in the production hall ensures a clean atmosphere. The integrated heat recovery system saves energy and therefore also costs. The system is located on two levels and is divided into three self-sufficient units: A manual system for decoating all parts, another manual system for coating small parts and an automatic system for coating large parts.
The project schedule, with a total duration of just 10 months, was more than challenging. A great achievement by the entire DECKER team!
