Semiconductors are components that mostly consist of silicon. In mid-October 2020 we were able to pack the cleaning, etching and drying line for silicon produced by DECKER in containers and ship it to our customer in China. It has been by sea for three months, then DECKER will set it up and put it into operation.
Their purpose: to remove particles from silicon surfaces before manufacturing electronic memory chips and processors, to etch away metal atoms, to chemically polish and finally to dry them. The cleaning result will be less than 5 g of metal per 10,000 t of silicon.
