The DECKER team dealt with this question and presented a completely new system concept for MAHLE: a fully automatic selective coating system in modular design.
Less media consumption, less wastewater and fully automatic plant operation: by building this particularly efficient plant, which is unique in the world in this form, we can make an important contribution to the success of our customers! The modular design also enables MAHLE to respond flexibly to new throughput requirements or part geometries. A new development with around 50,000 individual parts that all have to work together posed a very special challenge to the project team. After the final test runs, the final acceptance should take place in early June and the system should be handed over to the customer!
