What are personal data? Personal data are details making it possible to identify a person. These include in particular your real name, date of birth, address, and telephone number. How is the transmission of personal data being protected? To safeguard the confidentiality of our communication with you we make use of the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encoding method. According to current information, the encoding of 128 Bit made possible by it can be regarded as secure. This level of security is reached by all browsers of the younger generation. Perhaps you ought to update the browser on your PC.

If it is possible to enter personal or business-related data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses) within the scope of an internet offer, the disclosure of such data by the user is made on an explicitly voluntary basis. The use of all services offered is permitted without requiring the disclosure of such data, or upon the giving of data made anonymous or a pseudonym, if technically possible and reasonable. However, through stating the optional data correctly you enable us to attend to you on a personal and individual basis.
Is the confidentiality of the e-mail correspondence/contact form guaranteed? In case you should want to get in contact with Westend Apotheke via e-mail or contact form we have to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted may not be guaranteed in spite of encoding (see: „How is the transmission of personal data being protected?” above). The contents of e-mails can be read by third parties. We therefore recommend that you send us your confidential information by post, exclusively.
Will data be recorded at my visit? Everytime a site of our web offer is accessed by a user and everytime a file is called up access data regarding this process are saved onto a recording file on our server.

Apart from that, you alone decide whether we are ourselves are allowed to use your data for the purposes of counselling, advertising and market research. Here too, you are of course entitled to revoke your consent once given at any time.
Will you disclose my data to third parties? Personal data are used by us for internal purposes in the course of our relation with the respective customer only.
